A uniquely faith-based, mission-minded community

Our Mission

Delivering our mission for over 53 years

The retirement and senior living community at Warm Beach is a faith-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose core mission is to enrich and improve the lives of Retirees and Seniors.  Volunteerism and community engagement are core values defining our identity. Ours is a mission fulfilled not just on campus, but extends to those nearby who wish to age in place.

Each year our Residents, Donors, Volunteers and Staff contribute countless hours of time, labor, charity care and direct services both on campus and throughout our neighboring communities of Warm Beach, Stanwood, Camano, Lakewood, Smokey Point, Arlington, Marysville, Tulalip and further into Snohomish, Island and Skagit counties.

51% of independent living residents are low-income and benefit from our non-profit mission focus.

42% of our Assisted Living and 40% of our Skilled Nursing residents are Medicaid which reimburses at less than 70% of our cost to provide daily care.

12% of independent living households in our community receive donor-driven monthly rent assistance

In response to identified community needs we provide the following programs, events, and activities to fulfill our mission:

Uncompensated Charity Care:  Low Income housing and Rent Assistance, Medicaid Gap Assistance, Flu Shot Clinics, Homeless Care Kits, Age-in-place home assessments and more.

Educational, Wellness and Advocacy programs:  Health & Wellness Classes, Healthcare worker & Caregiver panel discussions, AARP Driving Classes, Virtual Dementia Tours, Estate Planning Basics, Field Trips and outings, and more.

Transportation:  Doctor's Appointments, Shopping Trips, Activity outings, and uncompensated use of our buses for sister ministries.

Social Engagement:  Resident driven activities and community events, Community Concerts, Rotary Parade participation, Community Garden boxes, Christmas Bazaar, Operation Christmas Child and more.

Thrift Store:  High quality, low-cost clothing, furniture and other reusable household items which reduce landfill use and enhance the livability and sustainability of our neighborhoods.
