Your General Fund gift provides the greatest flexibility for us to use your gift where it is most needed today. From making repairs, replacing worn equipment or simply paying for the gasoline used in our community buses - general fund gifts help fill the gap between conservatively written non-profit budgets and those emergency moments or extra needs which arise.
Your gift to the compassion fund meets the financial needs of low income seniors in our assisted living and skilled nursing units. Over 40% of our residents in these units are Medicaid reimbursed at rates between 60% - 70% of the actual cost of providing care. In addition to filling this Medicaid gap, compassion funds are used to offer needs-based financial assistance to low-income seniors with private insurance who struggle to pay remaining balances after care ends. Your gift to compassion funds allow us to provide compassionate care and financial assistance to both of these at-risk populations.
Rent Assistance Fund
In keeping with our founding mission, we offer needs-based monthly rent assistance to our independent living community. We depend fully upon the generous gifts of donors to provide the monthly scholarship assistance residents need. Your gift to the rent assistance fund empowers independence, preserves dignity and provides peace of mind for our financially at-risk residents.
Refresh & Revitalize Beachwood's Community Spaces
Providing well-maintained community spaces where meaningful connections can occur is essential to meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual health of our residents. Our Beachwood lounge and meeting rooms are where so many of our activities, events and fellowship take place. Having well cared for and comfortable spaces to gather is mission-critical. This fund will be used to replace worn and aging carpets and furniture.
Employee Assistance Fund
Our employee assistance fund is right in line with our mission to provide for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of our staff. By offering needs-based assistance during a temporary financial crisis (i.e. - car repairs or other unplanned expenses). Your gift provides peace of mind, restores dignity and enables these staff member to remain focused on the life-changing work they accomplish each day serving our residents.
