At Warm Beach Faith-Inspired Retirement Living, staying active doesnât have to mean pounding the pavement or lifting heavy weights. For many of our residents, wellness begins in the waterâwith the laughter, movement, and connection found in our water aerobics classes, led by our beloved Community Director, Sheila Bartlett.
When asked why she loves leading the class, Sheila says, âI get to see people light upâŠnot just because theyâre getting stronger, but because theyâre laughing and connecting. Thatâs what itâs all about!â
Why Water Aerobics?
Water aerobics offers a gentle yet effective full-body workout. The buoyancy of the water supports joints, making it a safe and low-impact way to improve strength, balance, and flexibility, while still providing enough resistance to build muscle and boost cardiovascular health.
More Than Just Exercise
Our residents say they look forward to class not just for the physical benefits, but for the friendships and fun. Itâs a place to connect, share stories, and celebrate small victories, like noticing you can move with a little more ease or last a little longer in the workout than the week before.
What Our Residents Say
"I never thought Iâd enjoy exercise this much! Sheila makes every class fun, and Iâve noticed my balance and strength improving every week. Plus, itâs the best way to start my day, with friends and lots of laughs!â â Warm Beach Resident
