At Warm Beach Faith-Inspired Retirement Living, safety and community always go hand in hand!
This week, our residents and team members joined millions across the globe in The Great ShakeOut — the world’s largest earthquake preparedness drill.
The annual event reminds people everywhere to practice the simple but life-saving action:
“Drop. Cover. Hold.”
“It’s reassuring to know we’re ready for anything — and even better to go through it as a community,” said one resident after the drill.
We were also honored to welcome Fire Captain Christian Davis from North County Fire/EMT, who joined us to share expert insights on emergency readiness and safety best practices. Captain Davis commended the community for its strong preparedness efforts, commenting that, “Warm Beach Retirement Living is one of the most prepared communities in our entire service zone.”
The Great ShakeOut is about building resilience — something our residents know well. Whether it’s through faith, friendship, or a shared sense of purpose, this community continues to show what it means to be ready, responsive, and rooted in care.
