Visual Changes Around the Community
— Monday, July 18th, 2011 by WBSC
The Warm Beach Senior Community is in the midst of its late spring transition-that time of year when Mother Nature shows us what she is truly capable of. Our community has come alive with color and blessed us with wonderful floral scents. the gardens next to the Cottage are coming to life as residents carefully tend their garden plots.
Inside of the building, there are also changes abounding. As you walk through nursing, you will be greeted with elegant new chairs that were donated as memorial gifts for the residents of the skilled nursing center. We have placed a few of these chairs outside of Linda Hansen's office, hung a new picture, and "Voila!" A transofrmation has taken place right before our very eyes, making this a much more welcoming area for visitors and residents who are waiting to see the Doctor on Thursday's.
We also have a new painting, given to us on loan, which is hanging in the Beachwood stairwell for all to enjoy reminding us all to appreciate the joy of art. This painting is on loan from Bud McDole. Please be sure to ask him about the history of this beautiful painting, which came from Hawaii.
The SOWERS will be back this summer, helping to make improvements aroudn our already beautiful campus. We are thankful to the LORD for leading them to us and for their commitment to the Senior Community. Take the time to stop and say hello-they are here to serve!
