The Great Northwest Glass Quest
— Friday, February 10th, 2012 by WBSC
The winter months can be cold and dreary with not much to entice us to enjoy the great outdoors. The Stanwood / Camano Island area is changing all of that!
For the third year in a row, Stanwood and Camano Island is hosting the Great Northwest Glass Quest. This event is a 10-day scavenger hunt for those who thrive on the thrill of searching for treasure. The Questors are on a mission to find clue balls at participating local businesses (including Warm Beach Senior Community) and local area parks. You will need to search high and los for these clue balls, but will all be worth your while. Those that find these hidden clue balls will be awarded with a beautiful hand-blown snoball by artist Mark Ellinger. Each snowball is unique and is signed and dated by the artist.
Even if a treasure is not found, the Great Northwest Glass Quest allows opportunities to discover areas of Stanwood and Camano Island that otherwise may have gone unnoticed. For more information visit www.thegreatnwglassquest.com.
