A Word from the Executive Director

It hardly seems possible that five months of 2011 have already passed by. Warm Beach Senior Community has been an active place with many challenges and opportunities presenting themselves so far this year.
In spite of the challenges by the economy, and state and federal budget cuts we have an active and enthusiastic group of residents, staff and volunteers. If you visit our Community you will see many programs and events taking place. Our nursing home and assisted living neighborhoods are recognized for their quality of care. Staff receives accolades for their caring attitudes and how they become engaged in each of our resident's lives.
"Christ-Centered - People Focused" is more than a motto for the Community. God led us to where we are today and He is leading us into the future. The Board of Trustees has focused on two initiatives that will keep the Community moving forward. A master planning exercise is being conducted to identify needs in housing, program and services. You will be hearing more about this soon.
A new emphasis on fund development is also in the works. The Board has authorized the hiring of a Director of Development who will focus on major gifts. We will be working closely with the Free Methodist Foundation and this will begin to lead to a more secure financial future.
Please continue to pray for Warm Beach Senior Community. There are significant challenges that lie ahead and tremendous opportunities. With God all things are possible and we anticipate seeing the great things He will do at Warm Beach Senior Community.
