Christian Advocates

The men will meet for breakfast at 8:00am in Beachwood Lounge with the ladies joining in for the program at 8:40am. The presentation will feature Pastor Sam Schaar. He will share his experiences of being part of a team of 6 in India. He will talk about churches visited in Mumbai (western India) and the state of Orissa (eastern India). Included will be an overview and highlights of the trip. A question and answer time will follow.
Camp-Fire Memorial Day Music with Gerry Albin

A warm and light-hearted musician, Gerry will be presenting a variety of patriotic, gospel, some original and sing-a-long favorites. Of course there will be snacks and fellowship to bring joy to your heart and warm your soul. Bring a friend, pull up your favorite chair and get warm around the campfire.
Spring Festival of Song
May 26 / 4:00pm
This program will be held at the Warm Beach Free Methodist Church and features the Warm Beach Free Methodist Church Choir and Orchestra along with audience involvement in hymn singing as directed by John Sinkevitch. All are invited. No charge. Reception following. A free shuttle bus will leave from outside the Front Office at 3:30pm and return following the reception at approximately 5:30pm. Come and enjoy and unforgettable experience!
Piano Recital

A piano recital by students of Jeanne Sparks Piano Studio will be held in Beachwood Lounge. The students love to perform before a live audience. Many different instruments and styles are represented. Come enjoy the music.
Glimpsing the World Through Small Windows
June 3 / 7:00pm
This event will feature a slide show of beautiful photography by our own, Arnold. You will see snippets of the life and travels of Arnold and family, including Skagit Valley tulips, northwest mountain scenes, and east coast foliage. Anyone who has taken many pictures knows that you begin to see the world as small snippets of subject with frames around them. You will appreciate the beauty and details of the flora and fauna of the world the way it has been experienced by these educators. There’s even a 7 toed cat named Rapunzel!
Sister Connection

Sister Connection is a ministry of housing, hope and help for African women with special needs. It was presented here several years ago and many of our residents were deeply moved by its significant impact. The program will be held at the Warm Beach Free Methodist Church.
Insight: A Low Vision Expo
June 8
The theme features Splashes of Light:The Impact of Visual Impairment on Monet’s Artwork by international eye care humanitarian, educator and advocate Dr. Imran A. Kahn. He will explore how Impressionist Claude Monet persisted in learning new low vision functional skills to continue painting and ultimately redefine his life as an artist. The event will be held at the Lynnwood Convention Center.
